After extensive research and development, the iQ15B 15" Front-Loaded Powered Subwoofer emerges as a powerhouse in the audio industry. With a maximum output power of 3000 Watts, this subwoofer is designed to deliver superior sound quality for a wide array of applications, ranging from portable setups to fixed installations, and catering to both music and speech sound reinforcement needs.The iQ15B is equipped with a high-excursion 15" low-frequency driver, featuring a double suspension low mass 4" voice coil. This design ensures a fast and accurate transient response, facilitating virtually distortion-free operation, even during the most demanding performances.At the heart of the iQ15B is a highly efficient and lightweight KLARK TEKNIK Class-D power amplifier, capable of delivering a staggering 3000 Watts of output power. This is complemented by a sophisticated KLARK TEKNIK Digital Signal Processor (DSP), which provides dynamic EQ and transparent limiting, ensuring maximum punch and definition at high output levels, while also guaranteeing long-term reliability.The iQ15B's advanced DSP speaker modeling presets include detailed and accurate models of some of the most respected speaker systems in the audio industry. The rear panel amplifier module features a fully-featured user interface, complete with an LCD display, Channel A/B gain control, and a single rotary encoder for easy access to level, EQ, Speaker modeling, and Feedback Control (FBI).The iQ15B also boasts two combination balanced XLR/jack inputs and balanced XLR outputs for powered satellite loudspeakers, a mic/line switch, and a level control with a signal present LED. The subwoofer's proprietary ULTRANET technology allows for the use of CAT5 cables to transmit pristine multi-channel audio signals and other information between ULTRANET-enabled products, such as digital mixers, powered loudspeakers, and personal monitor systems.This digital distribution networking not only eliminates potential RFI and crosstalk common to analogue methods but also significantly reduces setup or installation time. An onboard USB port provides access for remote control of the iQ15B via a PC, as well as DSP and speaker modeling firmware updates.The iQ15B is housed in a birch plywood enclosure, finished in a hard-wearing semi-matt black paint and fitted with a rugged powder-coated perforated steel mesh grille. It also features a 35mm pole mount to support a satellite speaker and plated steel castors with rubber tires. Mains power input and link output are provided via Neutrik powerCON connectors, ensuring a seamless and secure connection.
