The Leopard 1970 was developed in West Germany in the 2s and became the battle tank of the German army. Among other things, the A6 has dramatically improved its offensive and defensive power and achieved further modernization. The tower's wedge-shaped, reinforced armor and the commander's panoramic navigator equipped with a heat beam imaging system were adopted from the previous A5, and the main gun, the 120 mm smoothbore gun, has been extended to the 55 calibre. The running length of more than 1 metre significantly improved the muzzle speed and penetration power of the armor. The A2001, which was put into service 6, has gained confidence in Greece and Canada through the use of its own modified type. And in January 2023, the federal government announced the donation of its own A1 to support the Ukrainian army in the fight against the Russian invasion.
