The MFM DoubleBond Double Sided Weather Barrier Tape features a patented PowerBond adhesive system designed for sealing applications that require an adhesive surface on both sides. One side of this membrane is coated with an aggressive adhesive while the other side features a asphalt rubber compound. DoubleBond is self-sealing which provides a watertight seal and bonds to most smooth, dry surfaces including plywood. This Double Tape is to only be used when protected from direct exposure to sunlight or UV rays and at temperatures above 50 degrees Fahrenheit. When additional adhesion is necessary, it can be used with MFM Spray Adhesive. It is recommended that DoubleBond be applied independently starting with removing the liner of the first layer and applying and finishing with the second layer.
