G2 is pleased to introduce the new HAMMER Differential Covers for the Dana 30, Dana 35, and Dana 44 front axles for the Jeep JL Wrangler and JT Gladiator. OEM differential covers are often made from thin stamped metal that is vulnerable on the trail. Hit a rock or other obstacle and they can bend or puncture. Once that happens, differential fluid can easily leak out leaving you stranded on the trail. The new G2 HAMMER is a tough, durable differential cover for the Jeep JL Wrangler and JT Gladiator that prevents this from happening. Hammer M186 iron differential covers are designed to protect your carrier gears, lockers, and bearings from potential damage, not to mention a tough, messy trail fix. Even more common, though less catastrophic, is "peel off" which can occur when sliding over a rock causes the edge of the cover to peel off, allowing your gear oil to drain causing a hazard to both your Jeep and the environment. Manufactured from highly ductile nodular iron, the same material drag racing differential housings are cast to handle thousands of horsepower. The Hammer M186 Iron differential cover design incorporates pockets to protect the diff cover bolt heads from trail damage, while the diff cover profile acts as a ramp to help slide your Jeep up and over the most troublesome obstacles. The ramp profile also results in an extremely thick, up to 1-inch thick cross section around the bolt ring where contact with rocks is most likely. Throughout the remainder of its cross section, the Hammer M186 Iron differential cover is the thickest cast differential cover on the market, from 7/16" to a brutal 1/2" thick on the outermost surface
