- LIGHT TOAST - Light Toast is a low-level temperature roast that showcases the natural sweet and savory flavors of this Brazilian wood. These spirals should not be reused. All of the oak flavor is fully extracted after one use, and won’t add flavor to future fermentations.
- BARREL AGED FLAVOR - Our Craft A Brew Amburana Infusion Spirals are also known as Brazilian Oak. Amburana tends to reduce the acidity of a beverage, allowing the flavor to shine. Amburana spirals contribute their own sweet and savory flavors reminiscent of gingerbread and vanilla. Herbal notes, like thyme, can also be detected.
- HOW TO USE - Brazilian Oak spirals can be snapped into smaller lengths as needed. Place the oak infusion spiral directly into your beer or wine. The oak flavor in charred oak spirals is fully extracted in 6 weeks. You can remove the oak from the fermenter earlier for milder oak contribution and flavor. 1 small spiral treats 1 gallon and 1 large spiral treats 3 gallons.
